After 26/11: Where are we?

I am not feeling sleepy today eventhough the watch showing the time as 12:30AM (26/11) keeps ticking forward. I am very scared, upset and disappointed. I can’t stop my brain from thinking about the horrible 26/11 atttack last year. I still remember, I had completed my telecon at office and came back home; I was about to reach home when i got a call from my friend who asked me to switch on the news channel. When I saw news, I couldn’t believe that all the channels were broadcasting the same news. That day when i slept in the night the last scene was that of Mr Karkare wearing the killing jacket and the next day when I switched on my TV I saw the news flashing about his death. I started crying, it was like something had happened to a family member. Now, in the middle of the night; all those incidents are again visualing in front of me.

I am wondering if the same sort of attack can happen anytime and anywhere in Bharat?
Today we complete the ONE year of cowardice and impotency of our great government.

Yeappy!! We have completed one year of begging to our great neighbour country Pak and our Mai-Baap America. Have you noticed, that after every horrible incident our government starts begging to Pakistan - plz don’t do this, plz don’t do that. And asking America - plz ask Pakistan to stop this, pls ask Pakistan to stop that. Has our government taken any decision any time except begging?
Our yougesters, government & education system all are trying to mimic America in all aspects, so why don’t we learn how to handle terrorism from America and Israel? Is our government impotent or is it the Muslim vote bank politcs?
For the last one year our government has been asking Pakistan to put the culprits behind the bar, but our government has done nothing to Kasab till date; forget about other masterminds behind this attack. Its unbelievable that we have every proof, all the CCTV footage; still out judiciary system hasn’t come to any conclusion. If our judicial system is so weak and the process dragging for so long; we must come forward and change it.
Don’t we also share the same responsiblity as our government? Just after 6-8 months of the attack, we got the chance to change the government but we selected the same government AGAIN.. Why??? Are we waiting for another attack ???
I would appreciate your comments

Hats off to Congress

Before starting this blog, I would like to make it clear that I am not supporting any political party or their wings.
Congress ka haath, garibo ke saath. It means, whenever farmers and poor people are commiting suicide; Congress ka haath will always support them. Congress knows that the opposition party is going to raise the point of farmer suicide, rising prices, Koda (who became the kodh of economy) etc.; the Liberhan Committee report was leaked to Media and the media has responded in the way Congress was expecting them to; so they have easily distracted the attention of people from other bigger issues like farmer suicides & price rise. I am wondering if BJP is a Hindu supporting party, but I am sure Congress has been an anti-Hindu party. Please stop dividing the people of this country by digging up the past.
I would appreciate your comments

1984 Sikhs Riots:

It really hurts to hear about innocent people still waiting for Justice since 25 long long years and whoever had done that hinious massacre are enjoying the politcal power.
Do we have any law and order in this country or is it just that you drag the topic and people will forget it after a while? Manmohan Singh has completed more than 6 years as Prime Minister of this country. Some say he became the PM because he is a Sardar ji (belonging to Sikh community) but the other side of the coin is what he has done for thousands of widows, orphan children and teenagers who are getting addicted towards drugs.
I always watch on television that school children, social activists and college going students they light the candle and take out processesions against causes like some so-called lover had died or opposing the Moral police. But none of today’s youth are coming forward for Justice of victims of 1984 Sikh riots.
I came to know Jarnail Singh threw a shoe on Home Minister of Bharath and Mr. Chidambaram has such a great heart that he forgave him. Do you think any of our politicians can forgive to a person who had hit him/her by shoe?
Chidambaram does not want to part of this issue that’s why he forgave him but the reallity is he does not have any job in last 8 months (May not have for the whole life).
Hats off to Jarnail Singh to show the courage for Justice fights for really innocent people.
While writing this article one thought came across my mind so just want to put into words. We all appreciated “Rang de basanti” (Aamir starrer movie) because it shows if system doesn’t give you justice you must fight for that so what hodling us when it comes to support for riot victims of 1984.

19 years old Nagaland Girl murdered by Phd (IIT D) student

Today was a very hectic day for me. Once I reached home and switched on my LCD, all news channels were showing about a 19 year old girl from Nagaland was murdered by an IITian.

What was the issue – girl’s murder, victim’s place or the accused belonging to IIT?

I wondered this would be such a big issue if the accused was not a IITian; but it started thosuands of new topics to debate. I think there are two major issues in this case.

How safe women are in Bharat and are we racists?. Yup you heared me right Racist.

There are handful of incidents in last couple of months where we hearabout girls from NE being harrassed & exploited. We shout Racist Racist from top of the roof whenever any Bhartiye was attacked in Australia but what about when we attack our own people. Aren’t we racists?

Now it is high time to wake up, we should not discriminate based on skin colour and the way people look.

I would appricate your comments on this.
