Today was a very hectic day for me. Once I reached home and switched on my LCD, all news channels were showing about a 19 year old girl from Nagaland was murdered by an IITian.
What was the issue – girl’s murder, victim’s place or the accused belonging to IIT?
I wondered this would be such a big issue if the accused was not a IITian; but it started thosuands of new topics to debate. I think there are two major issues in this case.
How safe women are in Bharat and are we racists?. Yup you heared me right Racist.
There are handful of incidents in last couple of months where we hearabout girls from NE being harrassed & exploited. We shout Racist Racist from top of the roof whenever any Bhartiye was attacked in
Now it is high time to wake up, we should not discriminate based on skin colour and the way people look.

yeah its true when a person from a group is harassed then the group is with that person but nobody looks what is happening in that group itself...i think this is human tendency...so is the case with our india..but i know this thing pretty clear there is no place in this world which is free from crime...i would rather take it as a crime...delhi is a place where people from all round the india come and are good soft target to get harrassed and molested...but i am not with the criminal okay ...its evil...take a case with the north indians being beaten and thrashed in maharastra...thats becoz those people were soft target and didnt belonged to that place ...especially without there CLOUT...which is the only word i would say indian people rely on...clout...in my town i am the king...rather popular indian bollywood saying " apni gaali mein toh kutta bhi sher hota hai."...... that's it....

ReplyDeleteWe can’t not ignore not only girls even boys from North-East have to face discrimination just become they look different. I understand powerfull person will always try to dominate week/not welthy people. But we should not close our eye for such important factor for sociaty. We should come forward and educate the people about social ethics.
